On 26 September, Maristel Hotel & Spa hosts a new four-hands gastronomic experience where fire, embers and ashes become the guiding thread of the evening. Our chef, José Luis Adán, welcomes Edgard Rodríguez, chef of Aromata restaurant, to create a menu inspired by the Mediterranean and one of the most primal and authentic ways of cooking: fire.

Two chefs, two culinary visions and the same respect for exceptional produce. “Fire, Embers & Ashes” is conceived as a dialogue between technique, territory and seasonality, where embers add intensity, fire transforms and ashes reveal unexpected nuances.

The result is a Mediterranean tasting menu created especially for the occasion. Produce from the sea and the land, meats, vegetables and seasonal ingredients will meet the fire to reveal deeper flavours, smoky aromas and contrasting textures.

Each course will explore a different expression of fire: direct, slow, intense or subtle. A cuisine where technique enhances rather than overshadows the ingredients, and where the embers become an ingredient in their own right.
