Reading and the sea nurture and heal

From 13 to 15 November, Maristel Hotel & Spa and Estellencs become the setting for Remanso, a reading retreat with Jacobo Bergareche, specially designed for healthcare professionals. Three days to step away from the pace of everyday life, rediscover time for reading and share the experience of literature in one of the most peaceful corners of the Serra de Tramuntana.

Reading and the sea nurture and heal. With this idea at its heart, the retreat offers an immersion in the work of Jacobo Bergareche, combining time for individual reading with meetings and conversation circles with the author.

Set between the sea and the mountains, Maristel provides the perfect setting to slow down: peaceful corners in which to read, contemplate the landscape and enjoy the silence of Estellencs.

An experience for those who usually devote their time to caring for others and who, for one weekend, can find a space dedicated to themselves. The retreat is open to healthcare professionals — from doctors and healthcare assistants to psychologists and pharmacists — as well as retired healthcare professionals and students.

Three days of literature, conversation, sea and mountains. A space to pause, read and share with Jacobo Bergareche.
